The season starts now

Sagres Natura is ready for you! And so are the waves..

The surf camp is open and our first guests are already enjoying the surf lessons!

We're warming up slowly, and so is Sagres - with some beautiful sunny days last week!

Today it's a little cloudy but that doesn't stop the surf school from going out to have fun - remember we have super cosy wetsuits and when you're active and enjoying yourself it's the best way to keep warm!

The weather forecast is getting better and it should be a sunshine and blue sky weekend in the Algarve, with the average temperature rising to 20°C by April.

Of course, the micro-climate of south Portugal means it was an easy winter here, so it feels warm already for our guests from further north of Europe but we can't wait for the long summer days and late nights at the beach!

And it's great to be back together with the Sagres Natura team, as we all fall happily into our routine again.
As you can see, Rogelio and Massimo are excited to see each other

and when the vans loaded up with surfboards and went off in search of perfect waves

we made plans and had a very nice coffee

while Renata tidied up in the reception (too busy for photos)

But enough about us.. for a feeling of how your holiday will be when you surf and stay at Sagres Natura, you can read here A Day in The Surf Camp!

And if you’re ready to join us on the beautiful beaches of southwest Algarve, don’t hesitate – send us your booking enquiry now and start looking forward to your best surf trip ever!

Or please send us a message if you have any questions.

We hope to see you in the surf very soon!

From all of us at Sagres Natura =)

Extending the season 2017

Normally we finish surf lessons and close the camp in November but we’re extending our bookings this year for 5 reasons… 1. Because Weather: Last year the weather was amazing after we closed the surf camp and this year looks like more of the same! The strong winter sun in south Portugal makes the days perfect, especially on the sheltered beaches. Thanks to the micro-climate of the Algarve, it’s one of the warmest places to spend winter in Europe and, of course, to surf…

A Sagres Natura Surf Love Story

This summer we had the pleasure to share some waves again (for the 12th time) with our very beautiful friends, Gosia from Poland, and Jesus from Spain, who first met on a surf holiday right here in the camp! The story of how Sagres brought them together gives such a warm tickle to the heart that we thought to share it with you. Gosia first came to stay with us in August 2009, when she fell..
